The High-End Cake Business Blueprint

The honest roadmap for turning a home-based cake business into a high-end, order-only one. Every box worth ticking, in the order that makes sense, and where to go when you want a hand with them.

You can already make a beautiful cake. The bit you're after now is everything around it: the brand, the pricing, the enquiries, the being taken seriously. That's the part nobody hands you a map for.

So I made one.

The Blueprint walks you through the same three stages I focus on with designers inside the Society: get the foundations right, get organised, get noticed. It's the honest version, the boxes a high-end, made-to-order cake business actually needs ticked, whether you're just starting to charge properly or you've been at it a while and want it to feel more like you.

What you'll get clear on:

  • Who your work is really for, and how to speak to them, so you stop fielding vague, budget-shopping enquiries.
  • How to look the part (brand, portfolio, photos) even before the bookings roll in, and even on a small budget.
  • The systems that make ordering from you feel professional, so the admin stops eating your evenings.

Who it's for

It's for self-taught cake designers building a genuinely high-end business from home, mostly wedding and made-to-order cakes. A few kinds of people belong here. Maybe you've not long started and want to get the foundations right from the get-go, rather than unpicking them later. Maybe you've got a business that already works but something's feels off and you want better clients and more creative freedom. Or maybe you've been at it a while and want it more sustainable, more you, and less run-off-your-feet. Wherever you are on that, you're in the right place.

And if you're happy keeping cake as a hobby, just for the love of it, that's fine of course (even more than fine), but this simply isn't written for you. It's for the ones who want to build a proper business out of it.

One honest word before you grab it. This won't turn you into a high-end cake designer by the last page. Because let's face it, no free guide could.

What it will do is show you the whole map: what to work on, in what order, with enough guidance to take the first steps yourself. Where a step needs more than a guide can give (the actual teaching, the templates, the feedback, the people), I'll point you to where that lives, so you can dive deeper when you want to.

What’s Inside?

Get the foundations right

Where you are now, who your dream client actually is, and how to shape your cakes, portfolio and brand so the right people recognise your work.

Get organised

A website that does its job, a client system that saves your evenings, an enquiry form that filters out the wrong fit before you've quoted, and tastings run like the paid service they are.

Get noticed

Building your own network of aligned suppliers, wedding shows and directories worth your time, and using Instagram with intention rather than as a second job that you resent.

Plus

  • A short welcome video. I'll show you how to actually use the Blueprint without drowning in it: skim first, pick one thing, prioritise one win for now.
  • A workbook, for when you're ready to put a section into action.
